What type of Membership do I qualify for?

Please see our Membership page for a detailed description of each way you can be a part of the Tennessee Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers.

How can I be more involved?

There are so many unique ways to contribute! Here are just a few examples:

  • Reach out to a Committee Chair to express your interest in that particular subject. 

  • Volunteer to help with the Chapter meeting preparations and execution. 

  • Encourage members of the assessment community to join and attend Chapter Meetings.

  • Ask! We'd love to talk to you about how you can help. Use the contact form located in the main menu to send us a message.

When is the next Chapter Meeting?

We are currently working to provide you with information about the 2024 Chapter Meeting. Details are coming soon! Check back often for updates. Be sure to add tiaao.org@gmail.com to your email contacts so we can email you with urgent notices.

Who should I contact regarding questions about my Membership?

Does TIAAO offer any scholarship opportunities for education?

TIAAO greatly values members who seek to educate themselves further in order to provide excellent service. Each Chapter Meeting hosts an auction to fund educational expenses for members in good standing. Use the Contact page to send an inquiry about how TIAAO can help you reach your education goals.

When is the deadline to nominate a candidate?

The deadline to nominate Member of the Year is April 15th. Stay tuned to Chapter emails for notifications on when the nominating period for this prestigious award has begun.
The deadline to submit nominations for open, elected positions is June 1st.

Can I register online for the upcoming Chapter Meeting?

With the changes in store for the new TIAAO website, you will be able to register for future Chapter Meetings online. Use the menu above to navigate to the Chapter Meeting section.. Please contact April Gaylord at April.Gaylord@cot.tn.gov if you have any problems submitting your registration.

Are past meeting's programs and presentations available online?

We are working to make information from previous Chapter Meetings available to you. We appreciate your patience as we build the portfolio.

What should I bring to the auction?

The annual auction is always a fun way to contribute! Members from all over Tennessee bring unique items for bidding. Locally made crafts, exotic refreshments, interesting experiences and representations of your home town are all great ideas. Be sure to submit your item to the Auction Committee following the instructions provided via email so we can all have a preview.

Can I download or submit a continuing education form online?

Each year, we will provide a request form for continuing education. This will typically be available within two business days after the Chapter Meeting has concluded. Your membership dues' status and attendance will be verified before the form is granted. If you need assistance with this, please contact Kimberly Holliman at Kimberly.Holliman@cot.tn.gov.
